OPTIMIST DAY GREETINGS FROM GOVERNOR ROGER

OPTIMIST DAY - FEBRUARY 1, 2024

Hello Fellow District 13 Optimists!

It’s hard to believe that January is almost over!

That means two things: the second quarter board meeting in Medicine Hat is just around the corner AND Optimist Day is even closer!

Even though, based on what I know about most of you, every day is Optimist Day, February 1st.  is the official day designated for that purpose.

Some clubs have scheduled special activities for that day. Others are planning service projects. I understand that outdoor service projects may be somewhat challenging in our part of North America at this time of year.

No matter what you choose, I encourage you to send pictures and a brief overview to De Matthews so she can include it on the district website.

Have a GREAT Optimist Day and I look forward to seeing many of you in Medicine Hat where we will be joined by my friend Great Plains Regional Vice President Mark Feilmann from the great state of Iowa.

Mark will provide added value to all who attend the conference.
