JOHN McFERRAN

John grew up in Lockwood Mt. and  joined the Navy after high school, married his high school sweetheart
Nikki, and together they spent 20 years moving around the country.

Upon retirement from the Navy, they returned to Billings and purchased B&L Scales from Nikki’s parents.

Lockwood always held a place close to John’s heart and when the opportunity arose, they relocated their business to Lockwood where they continue to operate it today.

The building of a high school in Lockwood proved to be the perfect time to build an Optimist club in Lockwood as well.

John is a Charter member of the Optimist Club of Lockwood, and was an Honor Club President.

John is proud of all the accomplishments of the Lockwood club so far. He was instrumental in the building of the club’s much acclaimed “barrel train”. He looks forward to the many ways the club will continue to serve the children and families of the community.

John is honored to serve as the Lieutenant Governor for Zone 4 for 2022/2023. He is excited to be
working with all the clubs in the zone on many great things in the coming year.
