OCTOBER GREETINGS FROM GOVERNOR ED

Welcome to another year of Optimism.   As my pin says, "I expect only the best by giving MY best".

This is not my District.   It is OUR District and  we want to make it a FUN place to be while we each learn something new and relevant to our positions.  Doesn't matter if you are a member, a part of the team or even Governor our goals should be to get together and learn as much as possible to make this District # 1 in all of Optimist International but never forgetting to have some FUN along the way, meet new people, share new ideas and give our best.

 In the past, the typical quarterly meeting was about 90% training/learning and 10% fun. 

What my goal for all District Meetings for the 2022-2023 year is 70% training and learning, with 30% fun and enjoyable. 

Result?  Hope you'll want to attend again and again, "and" bring someone who's never been to one, attend/travel with you, which would equate to "investing in yourselves".  A great commodity!!

By the Convention in August 2023 I hope to see a minimum of 125 people in attendance.  Let's rock Billings and show them what Optimists are all about.
