WELCOME TO AMSNW
NOVEMBER GOVERNOR'S MESSAGE
It is my honor to serve as the 2021-22 Governor for the Alberta, Montana, Saskatchewan and Northern Wyoming District. The theme for the year is
"Make Dreams Possible.
I am hoping that each time you look at the district logo you are reminded of the statistic ONE to THIRTY-ONE. Each Optimist serves an average of 31 kids per year. Based the membership at the time I am writing this, Optimists from AMS&NW will serve 382023 children this year.
Think of how many more children could be served if we add more members to our clubs and more clubs to our District.
I know that each of you is proud to be an Optimist and are thankful to the member who asked you to join your club. Each of us has been given the opportunity to give back to our communities while gaining person growth. We need to share the same opportunity with friends, family and associates.
We strive to be the best that we can be while "Bringing Out The Best In Kids". The way we accomplish this varies from member to member, club to club and zone to zone but there is not wrong way as long as we continue to help our communities and children.
As the needs of our communities and children change, we must also adapt what we do. I encourage anyone that has ideas on changes that we need to make to contact myself or any member of the "Make Dreams Possible" team.
I thank you for being part of the District and look forward to helping you to achieve your goals 2021-22.
Yours In Optimism
Brent Card, Governor
