We are very saddened to announce that member Mae Weis has passed away. Our Treasurer Lyle received a call from her son Cory Weis advising she passed away yesterday morning after a lengthy illness.
Many of you will know Mae was a longtime member of our club, having joined on September 30th, 1997. She also ran her own casino advisor business with help from her son Cory and daughter Sandra, and they have provided Casino Advisors to our club for years.
Lyle has asked Cory to provide any updates on any planned funeral arrangements. If there is a funeral scheduled, we will provide an update.
As is past practice when a club member (or spouse of a member) passes away, Lyle will make arrangements to make a donation to the Canadian Children's Optimist Foundation in Mae Weis's name.
I'm sure all of our sympathies go out to Mae's family, including Cory and Sandra.
