LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

BRENT CARD
Brent has been a Member of the Hub City Optimist Club of Saskatoon since 1998. In his 23 years as a member, he also helped raise his three daughters, Stephanie, Danielle and Jasmine and now enjoys visiting with his 5 Grandchildren. Being an Optimist was always a part of the family life, his wife Cheryl was a club member for over 12 years before her passing.  Both Stephanie and Jasmine have been active members for many years and Danielle participated in several events as a youth before taking up residence in the United States.

Brent has held many different positions in Supply chain management over his Career, but most recently the past 11 years split between both the purchasing and warehouse supervision roles at the Nutrien Allan Potash Mine, a short distance from Saskatoon, SK.

At the local level, Brent has served his club as the Just Say no clubs coordinator, summer concession services committee, President many times and Secretary/treasurer many times.   At the District level, he has been Lt. Governor for Zone 7, and served on many district committees: oratorical, golf, leadership development and district meeting chairperson.

In his spare time he enjoys weekends and his trailer on Lake Diefenbaker and is an avid golfer.  He enjoys the outdoors and plans to do more traveling in the future.
