It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Harmen on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Jim William Harmen was born February 15th, 1948 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Jenny and Lloyd Harmen. Jim went to Strathcona and Wetmore public school, and Balfour high school. Over summer, he worked at the PFRA and built fences. Jim served in the Airforce for a short time. Later he moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba with his first wife Gwen, for about 2 years, where he completed his GED. After he returned to Regina he sold cars, drove gravel truck and worked for Sask Liquor and Gaming for 30 years. Jim married Bonny Brookes on July 23rd, 1983, and they raised two children Delaine and Michelle. He is predeceased by his parents Jenny and Lloyd Harmen and son Bradley. He is survived by his wife Bonny; his daughter Michelle (Matt) with their children Bryden and Haven; his daughter Delaine (Jeff) their children Triston (Cheyenne), Micheala (Dylan), Morgan (Autymn and Liam) and Ethan; as well as his aunt Margret and extended family Meg (Rob). He loved travelling with his wife, fishing with the boys, and his time with the Downtowners Optimist Club of Regina. In recent years he started having trouble with heart disease. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
