Roger Gravgaard
Roger Gravgaard joined the Heights Business Optimist Club in August of 2004
sponsored by his friend, Hope Headley. He has served as Zone 2/4 LG under three governors and has served on various committees over the years at the district level. He has served four terms as club president and most recently as the club foundation representative. Active in his community, he is a member of the Billings Chamber of Commerce where he served as chair of the Committee on Agriculture. He is moving into his second term on the City/County Planning Board for Billings and Yellowstone County. He is a past chair of the Heights Task Force for two terms and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Renal Network, based out of Seattle, WA where he represents the Patient Advisory Committee. Roger is a licensed agent with US Health Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Healthcare. He uses his thirty years of insurance experience to help clients solve their health insurance problems with affordable solutions in sixteen states. As a thirty-year member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, he advocates for his clients by keeping abreast of insurance related legislative issues both at the state and federal levels. Prior to entering the insurance profession, he was a teacher and coach at Dawson County School District in Glendive, MT Roger hails from a farming and ranching background, having been born and raised in northwestern North Dakota and is a graduate of North Dakota State University. Roger has been married to Mia for 33 years and they recently welcomed Adeline Renee as their first grandchild who was born to their daughter, Abigail and her husband Alex Frazier. Roger and Mia raised six litters of AKC registered Labrador Retrievers and provided over fifty puppies to homes across the United States |
