On May 6 & 7 approximately 55 optimist members gathered for a weekend of fun and education.  A great time was had by all who attended.

What a great way to honor  Optimist.  "Papa Smurf". aka  Vince Parker who has been very involved in the Optimist organization since joining in 1977, and is extremely passionate about the Canadian Optimist Children's Foundation.  His club (Prince Albert Optimist) wanted to honor his accomplishments and raise money for the CCOF and have had a commemorative coin developed.
